Introduction (who are you? what have you done with your life?):
So, My Name is Nolan Yoshimoto and my Minecraft Username is YoYoNoYo555. I'm 13 years old, however very mature for my age. I have accomplished a lot in live actually. In my free time, I love to code, whatever it is, I just code it. When I go to college, I'm going to be looking to major in Computer Science. I have coded an Android App which is on the Google Play Store Here: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=appinventor.ai_yoyonoyo1.Plane_Fall
I have also coded a Bukkit plugin since I am applying for a rank on a Minecraft server. If You want to see my Bukkit plugin, You can go on my server (YoshiCraft.us.to:27350) and type /parkour or /minigames. The Parkour is 100% custom. I can help draw a small community of people to the server to help grow. On my server, on a decent day, I can average about 7 people so not too big, but also better than 0.
Age (how long have you existed?):
I have existed for 13 1/2 Years
Gender (if it's not already set in your profile):
Male
Skype ID (optional):
Nolan.Yoshimoto1
Time Zone (or country & state/whatever if you don't know what time zones are):
United States California, Pacific Time Zone
What do you think you're good at doing? Building, Configuring minigames, Managing an economy, dealing with RPG plugins, experimenting with new game mechanics, analyzing timings, or what?:
I am best at plugins, configuring mini games, and managing economy. I can make basic plugins for you if you need them, configuring minigames is as easy as setting up the config and permissions, and managing economy is about setting prices on items so its basically fair for everyone, however keeping it in demand so people have an incentive to buy the product.
If you stated you are good with managing an economy, please briefly explain the principle of supply and demand:
(I'm Glad I listened in 7th Grade History)
Supply and Demand is with selling items, and the basic theory is that The more supply of an item you have, the more it will devalue, because it will be demanded less if everyone has one. However on the other hand, if there is only one item that everyone wants, the demand is really high and is worth a lot more. The only problem with that is that there is only 1 item and nothing else to give out.(Just an example): If you were to open a cookie store, and have 10 chocolate chip cookie in stock, and 100 oatmeal raisin cookies in stock a day, the chocolate chip cookies will have a higher demand, thus selling for more money, and since there are more oatmeal raisin cookies, the demand is lower and the price will be devalued to less than the chocolate chip cookies. However, if your good with economy, you can have both a high supply and demand so the user is happy, and your happy. To do that, you need fair prices, and an incentive for the people to buy the product.
Previous bans (have you been banned before? If so, please provide links to these ban reports, or if such reports don't exist, explain them here):
I've never been banned before, you can check here for proof: www.mcbans.com/player/33576291/
I guess I just follow the rules so I don't get banned.
Previous staff experience, if any (Please state why you left these positions and/or if you still hold a position):
I still am Owner on my server, (YoshiCraft.us.to:27350) and I was Dev on another server that shut down due to lack of server funds.
(Not required for builder applicants) Other than Essentials, WorldEdit, GroupManager, and PermissionsEx, what plugins are you familiar with? (list as many as you can, but don't lie obviously):
Vault, World Guard, Holographic Displays, Votifier, GA Listener, and My Plugins I code
Are you willing to learn how to setup plugins you've never seen before? (If yes, generally explain how you'd go about this. If no, existing why.):
Yes, they are really easy to setup. You read the Bukkit Page explaining the plugin, edit the config to your preferences, add the permissions with PermissionsEX, and reload the server. As long as i can read, I can setup plugins.
